Ingredients of Aloo tikki chaat

  1. You need of potato boiled and mashed.
  2. Prepare of green chilli finely chopped.
  3. It’s of cornflour.
  4. Prepare of lemon juice.
  5. It’s of Salt.
  6. You need of Oil.
  7. You need of chana daal/ Bengal gram.
  8. Prepare of red chilli powder.
  9. You need of dry mango powder.
  10. It’s of garam masala.
  11. It’s of Salt.
  12. It’s of tamarind chutney.
  13. It’s of green chutney.
  14. Prepare of beaten curd.
  15. You need of finely chopped onion.
  16. Prepare of sev.
  17. Prepare of Chaat masala for garnishing.
  18. You need of Red chilli powder for garnishing.
  19. Prepare of Chopped coriander.

Aloo tikki chaat instructions

  1. Soak chanadal for 2 hours, drain and pressure cook along with 1/4 cup water and salt for 4 whistle do not over cook it.
  2. Strain the water and let it cool.
  3. For filling mix red chilli, mango powder, garam masala and salt in chanadal.
  4. In mashed potato add cornflour, green chilli, lemon juice and salt and mix it nicely.
  5. Take a lemon size ball of potato and flatten it put one spoon of filling in between and wrap it from all side to seal it make all patty like this.
  6. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry it till golden brown from both sides.
  7. Take it out in a serving plate and press it slightly put green chutney, tamarind chutney on it.
  8. Put curd, red chilli powder, onion, sev, and chaat masala and serve.
