  2. You need 115 g of crushed walnuts and almonds.
  3. Prepare 115 g of melted butter.
  4. You need 135 g of plain flour.

  6. You need 3 of whole eggs.
  7. You need 3 of egg yolks.
  8. It’s 135 g of caster sugar.

Lemon Tart with Almond & Walnut Crust instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C (fan oven).
  2. Mix together plain flour, chopped walnuts, almonds and melted butter.
  3. Press into a baking tin and bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, allow to cool.
  4. In a saucepan over a high heat whisk the eggs, egg yolks, sugar and lemon juice until well incorporated.
  5. Add butter whisking constantly, until mixture is thickened and coats the back of a spoon.
  6. Pour mixture onto pastry case and bake for 35 minutes.
  7. Cool before serving.
